The Oregon Symphony—Portland’s largest performing arts organization—is the sixth oldest orchestra in the United States and the oldest west of the Mississippi. Under the baton of Music Director Carlos Kalmar, the symphony performs more than 80 concerts from September to May at downtown Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and elsewhere across the region.
